Spectrum needed to replace its aging Oracle HFM environment while transitioning finance responsibilities from centralized services to individual business units. A newly established finance leadership team faced a firm deadline, with limited room for disruption to financial reporting or close activities. CFO Solutions partnered with Spectrum to implement OneStream CPM Express, using its predefined structures and accelerated implementation framework. Beginning in February 2025, the team aligned requirements through onsite workshops, transferred existing financial mappings, and conducted iterative testing. Parallel validation across entities and consolidation levels ensured reporting accuracy, allowing Spectrum to transition successfully and retire HFM by June 30, 2025.
Value Delivered
Spectrum successfully transitioned to OneStream within its required timeframe, establishing a more efficient and standardized financial consolidation environment. The implementation reduced its financial close by two days and reclaimed more than 80 hours for financial analysis. Faster reporting also reduced the need for extended working hours while improving access to financial results. With legacy HFM retired, Spectrum now has a scalable foundation to strengthen financial controls and expand into additional processes, including account reconciliation.
